Big loss to Georgia Bulldogs, I almost cried.

But, after that loss I think they will step it up and see their mistake and beat Miami.

Re: LSU vs. Miami - Peach Bowl

I'd go with Miami in this one, they're tough.

Didn't you guys lose to Tennessee? They suck this year

Georgia put a hurtin' on LSU and they lost to Florida and Auburn and barely beat South Carolina. I'm not at all impressed with Georgia this year. I honestly think Auburn was the best team in the SEC this year.

Sorry but I don't see LSU beating Miami in the Peach Bowl.

Being a Gators fan though, I hope you beat the hell out of Miami!!!!!!

Good luck.

I'm not all that impressed with Georgia either.. but then... that could be because they're my biggest rival... and their fans tried to beat me up... C'mon LSU, smack those canes around!

LOL!! You guys sure ruined Auburn's season! AND you put the smack down on Miami too NICE!!!!!
I did watch the Iron Bowl this year and I was very impressed with Auburn. Again, I thought they were the best team in the SEC this year.

I dunno LSU Stogie, since I had forgotten about GA Tech. beating Miami, I guess I don't feel so strongly about my original statement.

GO TIGERS!!!!

Re: LSU vs. Miami - Peach Bowl

LSU is gonna have a tough time with the #1 defense in the nation. The real question is which Kyle Wright shows up for this game? Miami will be ready and will win by atleast 14 points.

Thought of you when I saw the results.

Would have liked to have seen a #3 PSU against #4 LSU in a bowl game.

As a HUGE 'Canes fan I am going with them...I was soooo pissed that we let GT beat we played like sh__ that game. We have abetter team that LSU and that is objective not subjective.

I have always disliked Mihami, but since I'm an ACC'r, go Canes! Even if Mihami was not in the ACC I would still think they will win.

Re: LSU vs. Miami - Peach Bowl

I dunno, LSU always seems to pull a win out, especially when they are the underdogs, look at when we beat Bama'. OU also seemed to choke when we beat them in the national championship.

First of all, LSU wasn't the underdog vs. Bama...secondly, you have to admit, LSU struggled with Bama's defense for most of the game... Miami's D is going to decimate LSU , especially if JerMarcus Russell isn't at his best... IF he even plays... he could possibly still be injured and will PROBABLY at least still be feeling the effects of that injury he sustained in Atlanta. After all is said and done, Miami 21 LSU 0. That's my prediction. A shutout. JerMarcus is going to throw 3 INT's and Joseph Addai is going to be shutdown by the speed of Miami's defense. Miami's going to have at least one TD off a turnover.

Re: LSU vs. Miami - Peach Bowl

UGA caught LSU at a bad time. The Tigers had played 11 straight weeks without
a week off after dealing with Hurricane Katrina. UGA hit a few early big plays
and LSU was in catch up mode the entire game.

UGA has prospered by winning the weakest SEC in about 20 years. If Auburn
hadn't missed FIVE field goal attempts against LSU, the Aubies would have put
a second beat down on UGA. Instead...UGA gets to skip on into the Sugar
Bowl where they get matched up against the weakest BCS opponent (West
Virginia) in the bunch.

If Miami is healthy and at full strength LSU gets beat.

FSU winning the ACC hurts because they are the 4th or 5th best team in the
league IMHO. VT, Miami, and GT are all better than FSU at this point. Probably
Boston College as well. When FSU knocked VT down out of the BCS bowls it
really screwed BC and GT as both teams went 5-3 in the ACC but got shuffled
back behind teams with poorer records who are staying closer to home for
their bowls. GT is going to the west coast for the 4th time in 5 years and BC
is getting shipped off to Boise as a reward for their 8-3 record.
