He wasnt off base by saying you had to choose at birth! Ive lived here in Bama for going on 8 years now and when I first moved up here people would ask if I was a Bama fan or an Auburn fan. My reply was always neither, Im a Gator fan. Well that lasted about a year when my friends told me I had been here long enough and I had to choose. So Weage Weagle I said

I don't agree on the FSU-UM FSU-UF.. When I was growing up in the late 80's early 90's true the FSU/UM game had some classic games.

When you go to school there, and live in the State is is very clear that FSU's rival is UF. They remind us of the current streak, we remind them of the past streaks. They tell us the all time record. We think that them winning 2 national championships in 100 years is cute.

Miami fan then comes in and talks about all of theirs, but no one really cares.

Clemson - University of South Carolina... it has split friendships and sparked many family feuds. Don't forget the brawl in 2004. Clemson leads the series 64-37-4.

Is it a rivalry when you have such a large lead in wins? I would love to say UT is a rival to us, be we havent beaten them in my lifetime. In my heart they are my most hated rival, but the win loss records dont show that. Hell, UK even has more wins then USC does in football. But, Im sure the hatred you two feel for one another throws those stats out the window, and thats what really matters. Thanks T for the link.

the hatred between psu/pitt can not be discounted but there is no reason to list it since we haven't played eachother in quite a while.

6) California-Stanford, 4-5-3-4-3---19 points. One of the longest and closest rivalries--also helps that they play in the same conference. What else would you expect from the series that gave us the greatest play in CFB history in 1982?

5) Oregon-Oregon State, 4-5-4-3-4---20 points. These guys started playing immediately following the formation of their teams. They don't get a lot of press, but they have very quietly had one of best rivalries in the land for a very long time.

4) USC-UCLA, 3-4-5-5-4---21 points. The battle between the best two historic teams in the Golden State, who just happen to be cross-town rivals. The stakes are always high as UCLA can be a perfect stumbling block for USC's Rose Bowl's dreams.

Well the game at a minimum will determine the winner of the SECW and thus who goes to the SECC. The SECW is 'stacked' this year and its gonna be a slugfest!!!

I read in somewhere that back in the day when SCar went to Clempson to play that someone from Clempson used to run out onto the field with a chicken and wring it's neck on the 50 yard line. Ouch!

You and Florida combined don't have as many titles as we do.
But who really cares about that.
