wholley smoke! Watching the Bama/Clemson game right now, and I have to say...Bama looks unREAL! They look mega-crisp on all ends. Saban has turned this team into a machine....and I can say that because of what he did at LSU. I officially predict Alabama winning the National Championship within the next 3 years! Heck, they might go all season undefeated!
Then again, they gotta go to Baton Rouge later on in the season!

It's not that Bama is that good(although they could be a contender), its that Clemson is nowhere near as good as the pre-season hype, imo. They never are.

I dunno about undefeated... but they certainly look much different than last year, although the first half isn't over... 2nd half was generally their problem. I'm just glad The Iron Bowl isn't today, Auburn has been sucking it up. NO other way to put it but just piss poor play.

All I can say I am embarassed to be in the ACC this far.. Good lord I hope this isn't a sign FSU is going to be as bad as the rest of the ACC!
I have to give some credit to the SEC they look awfully strong this year! Good luck to all and go Seminoles! Back to smoking cigars and drinking to much beer! Everyone stay staff! Shawn

 They could easily be near the bottom of the league, imo. Sorry Rick!  Wake is the team to beat in the ACC. |

My Hokies got crushed today. This is what happens when you start the sub-par QB who has never proven that he can play in actual games. Sure he is great during Spring Training, but turn those lights on and he looks like a deer in the headlights.
That, plus Beamer seems like he isn't getting his boys ready to play anymore. It's alright... we'll call this one a "rebuilding year." Now, Alabama looks great. I love seeing Clemson go down in flames. |

DAWGS #1. Nuff said. I don't think they will make it through thier schedule with no losses though. But hey, maybe we will get lucky and get to play for it all with one or even two losses. LSU did last year. I just hope it isn't against Ohio State again. Just like an old record that keeps on skipping. USC looked pretty good today as well as Bama.
