It's BRISTOL baby!! (w/pics!)

Finally got tickets to the night race at Bristol. My father and I went last night, and overall had a great time! The race though (if anyone watched) was boring, as wasn't much going on, and Jr took himself out of the race on the first lap. Best part was Edwards spinning Busch at the end. Afterwards, Edwards said "My hands must have slipped." Just the roar of the crowd showed approval!

I work about 8 miles from the track in Bristol and live about 20 miles away. Next time someone comes to town shoot me a PM!

I was in Bristol for the spring race this year, first time I had been there, and absolutely loved it. It wasn't overly exciting, but just being there was half the treat. The weather wasn't very good until Sunday, but we had a great time. I'd love to go to the night race. Glad you had a great time.

i have soooo much wanted to go to bristol in the past but since they have changed the track and i have seen a couple of races on tv.....i have no desire to go....i think darlington is now my favorite track

Cool pics but out of all the NASCAR tracks out there I like this one the least. Not sure why, but any race you go to is gonna be fun andIm sure you had your share am I right?

The track isn't the same since they resurfaced it last year. Still a track that I have to go to before I die. Been to Darlington, Rockingham, and Charlotte; Bristol and Talladega are on my to do list.

Thanks guys! I did have a great time, and it was good just getting to be with my dad as well. I think I may have to try Richmond or martinsville next, as those are the closest to me currently.

living 20 minutes away, I used to go to every race Busch and Nascar had at the track. It got bigger and the amount of obnoxious drunks got worse and worse so we do not go anymore.

it is a helluva place to watch a race, though. Much better than daytona IMHO.
