Well I am an SC fan and I know there are some more pac boys out there. Lets use this thread to bullshit about our conference.

Washington State is woeful this year. They are 0-2 and have given up 105 pts in two games. Nice defense.

Washington played BYU tough, but had a call go against them that cost them the opportunity to go into OT. Ty will be gone after this season, IMO.

OSU went to Happy Valley and got lit up by Joe Pa. That game was 35-17 PSU at the half. Give them credit for going on the road, but they took it on the chin.

I suspect these 3 teams will finish at the bottom of the conf...

Bruins get handed a gift by Tenn last week. We'll see what they do on the road at BYU. Did you see the ad that was taken out in the LA Times with Neuheisal?

Cal had a nice home win against MSU. Then they went on the road and handed WSU their heads; 66-3... good lord! They play Maryland this saturday.

Arizona feasted on some home cooking the last two weeks, blanking Idaho 70-0 and cooked up the Toldeo Mud Hens 41-16. They head out this weekend to play the Lobo's of New Mexico St. LoB's are 0-2 and looking for a win. We'll see how good UA is.

Stanford is 1-1 after getting cut down in the desert by the Sun Devils. I'll give Harbaugh some credit, his kids play tough. I doubt his tenure at Stanford will be of any length. He may get a bigger job in the PAC10 or go outside the conf. They travel to TCU this weekend. That's a tough place to play. I'll take the Horn Frogs in this one. I remember years ago when Southern Cal played TCU in the Sun Bowl in '98 and they ran all over SC. 28-19 final I believe. I believe LaDanian Thompson played as a Frosh or Red Shirt Soph.

And then there is ASU. Sun Devils are 2-0 and entertain the Runnin Rebs of Las Vegas. They should be 3-0 when No.2 Georgia comes to visit. Hope they don't look past the Rebs. Looking forward to that game. We'll see where ASU stands after the Dawgs leave town. Should be a good one.

Oregon travels to Purdue. The Ducks beat up on UW and Utah St for a combined 110 - 34. SO they are feeling good. Ducks better win now as they travel to SC, ASU and CAL. That's brutal!

Gift? Perhaps. I think it's more like out coaching Tennessee. Chow made a lot of half time adjustments to 'dumb' down the offense for Craft. While I'm not expecting great things from UCLA this year, I hope they give some of the better teams a run for their money. I guess we'll see how play against BYU and if they have used the bye week to help smooth out the kinks (and there are a LOT of them)

I think the greatest thing about the Bruins this year is their coaching staff. They'll need to rely on it if they are going to climb out of the middle of the PAC. That, and their D.

Anyway, SC is looking good as usual.
