It wasn't your fault you chose this week to put a bet on the Saints. You're not here. How were you to know the Saints would be without Colston. And the Saints were down a total of six starters on defense. Hollis Thomas was released after the Saints put him on IR (he wants a chance to come back later this year). LB Scott Fujita was placed on IR late this week due to injuries he received last week. CB Randall Gay was out. SS Roman Harper was out, MLB Mark Simoneau was out, DT Antwan Lake was out. DT Alvin McKinley - signed to replace Hollis Thomas - injured his foot Wednesday and did not play. And RB Aaron Stecker was out.

Makes it tough to win when you only have 46 people to suit up.

All that said, the Saints lost the game to Washington with the players they had suited up. Washington fielded a better team today.
