I figure I'll chime in too....It seems like a lot of you are just picking the best teams and ripping them out of jealousy. For instance, USC has clearly been the most consistently dominant program over the last 5 years or more, but that doesn't mean their fans suck. Does anyone have any real evidence of bad fans there or do you just hate them because they kick everyone's asses and the media gives them credit for it? But here is my list of worst FANS (that i've experienced)

I would include all SEC fans and Clemson (with the exception of UK and the crappy school like Vandy and SMU), then Michigan, Notre Dame, and Penn State. Also I have to add Wake Forest has the most annoying fans I've ever run into but that's mostly a basketball thing since it's only been a few years that they've mattered in FB now so I wouldn't put them on the list.

Edit: I also can't miss the opportunity right here to rip on those Scarlet Knights and Greg Schianno (who I'd put #2 after spurrier on my list if this were coaches instead of fans) for gettin torn up by my boys last night.

I disagree. Notre dame, has not been legit anytime recently. have you ever met an LSU fan? what about an Alabama fan? All of the above can get pretty annoying.(as can any fanbase) USC has most certainly been dominant, they're a good football team but way too many bandwagoners. . Ohio State... legitimately sorry. Horrible conference and the fans talk like they're God's gift to football. I can handle LSU fans, they're just a bunch of drunk cajuns. I can handle Alabama fans, they just don't know any better. You're argument that people just can't handle dominance... is that your explanation of the SEC bash, our continued dominance?

but spurrier does top my list of hated coaches. bobby bowden then nick saban.. again with the whole "God's gift to football" God's gift to football's name is Robbie Fowler, right pnoon?

The idiot who wrote that list is just trying to boost hits to her blog and articles. I always try to be courteous to fans of teams that I am not a fan of, and I honestly try not to be obnoxious. But if Orange and Blue (or red & black ect..) bother you so much that you think someone is obnoxious maybe you shouln't leave the house.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with UF fans, some UGA fans were pretty rude at the game last year. But I am not going to judge ALL UGA fans based on the actions of drunk college students.

It does appear that people are picking teams they dislike vs. actual annoying fans. That being said I am surised that the Hurricanes aren't on the list at all. I am a big fan but we do have some annoying fans.

And I'm not a "Pens" fan. That sounds to me like a Penguins fan (that's an ice hockey team, my southern brethren). I'm a 4-sport Philly fan through and through.

I'm pretty sure that was a response to me? I can agree about the bandwagonners but that isn't really who I consider the fan base. To the other part, no I'm not bashing the SEC because of their dominance, although that is a good point considering they have been over the last few years and especially this year so far. I actually used to really like the SEC and still do love to watch their games, because it is the best conference, nobody can argue that, but only as long as I'm not around an SEC fan of any sort. (I know not all of you are the same, but hell that's what this is about right? Summing up an entire fan base from the ones you've encountered) What annoys me is when a South Carolina fan is watching LSU and Auburn play and talks smack the entire game about how incredible the SEC is and uses that to justify South Carolina being better than basically any team outside of the SEC. And yes I know fans of Georgia, S. Car, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn. That's not the whole conference but close enough. I also know a lot of Kentucky fans and they're different, which is why I left them off. Having said that, at least we can agree on Steve Spurrier, haha.

That's a good point, that is quite possibly why it seems everyone hates the best teams' fans.
