The problem with the live draft? I can't get on Yahoo at work, so it would have to be after 11PM CST....doubt we are gonna get 16 guys willing to do that. Add to that 16 teams times 20 players per team, 5 minutes to pick...that's looking at about 3 hours.

Or we can just pick your team for you
Icehogs first round pick- wade Flaherty
second round pick - Steve Yzerman
third round pick - jaromir jagr

I see what you are saying. Id agree that for the first league it wouldn't be fair for everyone if some people could get on and some couldn't to do a live draft. But if there are enough players for 2 leagues, and we made one live draft and one autodraft, then only those who wanted do a live draft would be in that pool. And back in the days on CW's hockey it was only 60 seconds or so in between picks so it did go by pretty quick. And you do get to pre rank players as well so you are semi-prepared and 60 seconds was sufficent time.
but its just a suggestion if we open up a second one. Your running it better than any hockey pool i've ever been in and happy as it is.

Hey I know Wade quite well...hes over in China playing/assistant/goalie coaching for the China Sharks(San Jose connection). Hes also looking at taking over under 18 goalie development for the Chinese national program.

I was just surprised someone remembered his name...he could of went to tampa this year but he didn't like the management situation.

16 teams, Rotisserie style scoring, auto-draft with ability to pre-rank players.

Same stakes as last year....everyone sends 2 Premium cigars to the winner, and one to second place.

I am looking for people who have been at CS for 6 months, only so I know the players are in for the long haul. Sorry to anyone with less time here.

I have at least 3 open spots for the league, if you are interested and meet the requirements above, you can play. Please keep these things in mind:

It sucks for the players to have someone join who loses interest after a couple months and stops playing, so please only sign up if you are serious about playing through April.

The league is a commitment, just like the cigar lotteries for instance, and failure to make good has led a couple members to be banned until those commitments are met, so if you wanna play, you might have to pay.

If I haven't scared you off yet, fire me a PM. as those will take priority.

Wow! Add to that the four bench spots and you have 384 players drafted. Won't be much on the waiver wire I guess. Should be interesting. I am really glad this is autodraft. That would take forever to do online.

Thanks for letting me intrude upon this little game. Not that it's going to happen, but knowing some of the BOTL's here I would almost be afraid to win. No telling what could happen. Cheers!
