I found it ironic that early in the game the replay equipment failed which allowed the Broncos a turnover they didn't deserve. Coincidence?!?!?!?

And what a bizarre play at the end. Ed Hoculi is the best referee in the NFL and he had a brain fart. Cost the Chargers the game ending turnover.

However, once again, the Chargers defense was nowhere to be found when it mattered and Cromartie had a horrendous game.

It was a fumble, but the whistle blew as did the SD defense. Mike Shanahan clearly has the biggest balls in the NFL. Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal, Tony Scheffler, that offense is loaded, they may not win it all because of the D and special teams, but that offense is going to be loads of fun to watch this year. For you whine drinking bolts fans, I will give props to Phillis Rivers, he had a nice game, but the AFC west is now a two team race (if SD can recover and not go into a Norm inspired downspiral) and it should be a fun year.

Also interesting is the passing notice you gave the blown call. Had the shoe been on the other foot, I am sure we would have heard another tirade about the ineptitude of all sports officials and that they should all be executed.

Great memory on my drunken postings from a frustating season. I am in a much better place and drinking much better liquors now. That aside, my memory as far as the SD-Denver "rivalry" goes back much farther than the past two seasons. I have only recently started to despise the bolts, and that is because they have become a reasonably good team that has owned the broncos the past 2 years. Before that, I rarely took them seriously. It seemed that other than their one superbowl year they really didn't have the commitment as an organization to be a real contender. I believe that AJ really wants to win, but I question his judgement. I don't think Marty would have won a SB with them, but Norv Turner? Hey, I think it's great that we might have two good teams (at least offensively) in the division and I was actually trying to give your team a compliment in my previous posts. I've had the Nfl sunday ticket since 96 to watch the AFC west, it's nice to have the same level of hate for the chargers as I always have had for the raiders and chiefs.
