[SIZE=3]There is alot of talk around board at the moment about football since your season has just started, but our winter sports are nearly over and we are at the business end of the season.

I follow (with passion) Rugby League (not to be confused with Rugby Union) and the Warriors team.

Now the Warriors are the only NZ team in a Australian competition (we have some australian players in it).
In short:

  • [SIZE=3]We only just made it to the top 8[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=3]We made history the following week beating the top ranked team (Storm) and staying alive[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=3]This weekend we beat the 4th ranked team the Roosters[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=3]This coming Saturday we play the no 2 team Manly in an elimination round[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=3]If we win this, we play the grand final.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]
Don't you love these teams that have spirit, determination and self belief. If you can ever get to see a game of league - spoil yourself and watch it.

I watched them last year when I was back in NZ for a while,they weren't doing too good then
but it's great to see them doing well this season.
