I am not a fan of the lions but I applaud this decision. He has been the biggest joke in the NFL since, well, OCHO CINCO.

Eh, nothing will change as long as Ford Sr. is running the show. He's owned the team longer than I've been alive and they've pretty much sucked the entire time. I was born and raised in Detroit but was never once a Lions fans because of how the team is run and the fact that they play in a dome (football heresy). Still, it's a start I guess.

Detroit/michigan has 1 good team as of this year... the Wings.

UofM football (this year) - down the drain (still a huge fan don't get me wrong)
Detroit tigers (this year) - HUGE upset.. what happened to a .300+ batting line up?
Detroit lions - well.. duh
Detroit pistons - good, they make the playoffs every year can't complain.. but why reorganize the team? why put EVERYONE up for trade? Too high expectations from the owners and coaches.
Detroit red wings - lets see a repeat!

Roy Williams and John Kitna both need to go. They can't keep their pie holes shut. Always jawin about how good they are and how many games they can win. Kitna is so-so, but he throws too many interceptions, absolutely cannot throw downfield at all, and fumbles a lot, and...he's plain flat footed (non mobile).
