You can't beat that for sportsmanship and honor. I hope he gets sponsor exemptions for all the years tournaments. Surely Titleist will take care of him.

Wow. It's rare to find that type of honor and sportsmanship in any sport, but I'm not surprised that it happened in golf. It's more of a sport of honor than others. It's definitely a hard call to make, especially when one's career is on the line. Well done. Like you said, I hope he gets some exemptions next year because people like this should be role models for kids, not some of these other highly paid, cry babies. On another issue, I hope he figures out how that non-conforming ball got in his bag. It's his caddy's bad too. He should check any ball that he gives to his golfer.
