Well, with opening day upon us it is my hope that Bonds gets a terrible injury and is forced into retirement before he breaks a really great players record. Hate like hell to see a legend surpassed by this steroid abusing asshat.

If only the Babe had access to roids. He'd have hit 1,400 home runs

You never hear Arnold Schwarzenagger ever tell people not to take Steroids, he'd be a total hypocrite.

Schwarzenagger actually talked in one of his books about the proper use of steroids and the difference of his time and the new body builders. Never heard him talk against them just the proper use of steroids.

Bonds has done what it has taken to get to the top of the game. I find it rather offensive that fat and out of shape politicians that have never seen the inside of a gym or know what is involved in playing a sport are making a big deal about the use of performance enhancing substances.

The big deal is that he lied to a grand jury about not using them.

Maybe he lied, but didn't others lie, also. Shouldn't they be punished(Raphael Palmeiro,Sosa,McGwire,Sheffield,Andruw Jones,) too? As far as lying, the only player I know that admitted taking 'roids was Giambi.
Everyone was doing it. Like Canseco said roughly 80%. So do we just throw all those records out too?
What about the 70's and 80's Football teams. Lots were on steroids. Do we take away all those superbowls? You think the Steelers and Cowboys among others were not doing 'roids. Maybe all records from every sports, since steroids were in play, should be wiped clean?
One thing that is true about drug testing in sports, anyone can fake a test or mask it.
So if they get Barry for lying, others should pay the piper too for lying.

The others didn't lie to the grand jury. Everyone else in that grand jury hearing admitted to knowingly taking roids or hgh. That's why nobody is after them anymore. Palmeiro only lied to Congress.
