Actually college baseball has started. We have been practiceing since middle january and will begin games down south in 15 days. I know for a fact schools down south are already playing.

My son's HS team just had its first cut from 35 --> 20. Try-outs were a biatch, two 6 hour days then 2+ hours after school. Last cut's Wed. plus drop downs from Varsety...Good luck on the season and when are they going to go to wooden bats.......

Tech's recruiting class sucked ass this year. Despite their cushy schedule next year, they're gonna get killed by good teams. I like the comment "The rest of the league (cough, Virginia Tech, cough) is way too flaky." Hahahah .. way to peg them.

First the Good News- Ohio State has the number one player in the country coming in this year. RB Chris Wells and he is already in class. They say he may start as a true freshman. The last time they had a true freshman start at RB they won a National Championship (2002).

Now the Bad News- That last freshman I talking about.........Mo Clarett.

He went from the Big Ten to the Big House.

Bucks should be hard to beat this year. Bring on Texas.

Should be an interesting season for the Hogs. Definitely a lot of expectations. A lot of good moves have been made in the off season, but it might be too much to ask for them all to pay off next fall.

What the hell are SEC defenses going to do if Mahlzon really gets to run the hurry up?

What the hell is Father Frank (Broyles) going to do if the Hogs suck ass again?

So Ohio State is the pre-season #1 and their second game of the season is at pre-season #2 Texas, fireworks start early again At least both teams have a first game tomato can warm-up, vs No. Ill. and No. Tx respectively. Unfortunately, FSU had a bad pentade, loosing 20 games in the last five years and our opening game tomato can is Miami (Fla) Just under a month left to go boys and if Radar stays away from the board I've got a chance to win all the marbles in the football pool, although I wouldn't mind in the least if the mathematically disabled bozo started showing up more.
