I may be new around here, but I can't help it. The pitchers and catchers are down in Fort Meyers and the rest of the squad is filtering in, all except Manny, who is working out on his own and promises to report on March 1.

The Boston press is all over his ass, but I'd personally like to seen Manny take a bat to the head of a few sports writers. Ah, the hot stove league, spring is almost here!

Some people think that RED SOX Baseball in New England is a matter of life and death, but real fans know that it is much more important than that.

So then, Sign in and chime in if you love (or hate) the Sox.

Ya but now we have The Gambler and Todd Jones is back.
At least the farm system is starting to kick in, Verlander, Granderson.
Plus Shelton looks like a future All-Star.

The Sox and the Yanks had better look out, the Blue Jays are going to have quite a team this year and could make a run at the AL East.

The Red Sox are my life. I love the red sox second only to my family. I hate the yankees with a passion and I get giddy over spring training games when they play eachother. I was fortunate to get tickets to the July 24th, 2004 game at Fenway from my parents as my high school graduation present and it was by far the greatest day of my life. It was my first time at The Chapel and I was sitting 5 rows behind the yankee dugout. To be able to see the fight with V Tek and A Rod, the walk off home run, nothing will top that and to share it with my parents and sister was a great feeling. Nothing better than catching a ball game with family.

Well George worked for the Yankees, and was presumed dead. Stienbrenner had to call georges father Played by Jerry Stiller and tell him George was dead. his first reply wasn't about george it was "Why did you traded Jay Buhner for Ken Phelps" not caring about his dead son. Now that's a Yankee fan.

I love the Sox, but am already fretting the Coco Cripp crap that is going to be every other word out of the press this season. They can beat a catchy name or phrase to the ground by July.
