He seems like a party boy who refuses to take any responsibility for his own failures to me.

I can't stand that dude after having seen the interviews with him, totally not accepting that he represents himself and his country in a less than stellar manner (and i don't strictly mean just skiing, i mean in general). Talk about sinking a great sport with him.

hey, he can do whatever he wants to make him happy. realistically, he was the best chance the US had to get a gold in skiiing. people were talking about skiing more when he was competing (or not) this year. so hey, whatever floats his boat.



the only thing that irks me is how he gets a deal from nike. he gets a boatload of money from them to make a commerical on how he trains. wow, what a great guy for our kids to emulate and America to look up to.

He even admitted that he thought this was the best of all: partying at the olympic level. He hit the bars for beer every single night during torino.

they even said that he gained 12lbs since january (and most of it was beer muscle). Not that i'm that fit etc. but i'm not representing my country and its beliefs and values at the olympic games.

to me he is a "me, me, me" styled egotistical brat. If he even was close to being that "care about nothing" as his PR mean tries to establish then he should do what apollo ono did and get back to basics, living the simple life and just practice and practice to find that inner peace that leads to the perfect run.

He's an X-Games wanna-be brat. The partying and the undeserved swagger of his are just a few things that bother me about the guy.

I'm still wanting to see someone bash the Men's Hockey Team.....Miller wasn't the biggest disgrace of the Olympics this year. What about Davis and Hedrick and the way they acted? What about the guy in the figure skating making excuses for himself on why he didn't do too well? But everyone is eating up what Bode Miller is saying and by doing that you empower the man. The way Miller races is one where you either got it or you don't, and this Olympics he didn't have it. His style of skiing is not a well-accepted style in skiing.

Tempers flying, whining about playing time, and making excuses are things that are disgraceful. Easily put, USA has 4 long years to look back on Turin and get their stuff straight for the next one.

USA hockey was sub par, the team selection was questionable from the beginning.

Bode Miller, if he took skiing as seriously as he does his partying, Bode could be great.

If Johnny Wier spent more effort on skating and less on being a friggin' diva, I'm sure his medal count would improve.

Hedrick and Shani Miller disgraced the US by allowing their drama to get into the media.

Even though there were negatives, don't forget Apolo Ohno, Julie Mancuso, Ted Ligety, Sasha Cohen, Belbin and Agosto, Shaun White and others. All in all, I overlooked the negatives and I enjoyed the games.
