Tampa Bay, Baseball and Cigars
I have yet to get an evening free to check it out, being that I have only lived here a little over a year. I am told that the Tampa Bay Devil Ray's Tropicana stadium is a good place to hang out and enjoy a cigar. Cigar? Yes, the stadium here in Tampa Bay, FL is the only one to house a cigar bar in the stadium. JC Newman who owns The Cuesta Rey cigar brand also owns the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Just another thing to love about Florida! Most of the US based cigar industry is here, which gives us some nice benefits like this and another example is no excise taxes on cigars.

I didn't make it down there this year, but back in the day(opened 8 years ago), it was pretty cool. Can't see the game, though, from the room. Gotta watch it on TV. It's kinda weird. You're in this room, smoking, and watching the game on TV. You go out to the bathrooms, which are down the hall, and you see the game and realize you're there. I didn't describe it very well. Gotta see for yourself.

I think it's really cool that they have a cigar bar at the stadium, but it's quite weird that you have to watch the game on TV while you are there. :?

The Devil Rays, now the Sun Rays, have a collection of really good young players led by Crawford, Baldeli, and other kids. They will be exciting and to be able and attend a game at a cigar bar, wow! Can you say Heaven?

A LOT of talent on that team, although Toby Hall to Houston just happened.
The Devil Rays are NOT the only team to do this anymore, however. The Detroit Tigers have teamed up with Camacho and have a cigar bar in Comerica Park, now.
