I mean, the Gators thrash the vaunted, primped up Buckeyes.
My beloved Tigers did the same to the over-matched, overrated Fightin' Irish in JaMarcus Russell's swan song at LSU.

A National Championship, and another display of the sheer athletic ability of the Souteastern Conference football player, and the speed not seen in other confernces, even from the linemen.

I don't care one way or the other about the ButtEyes, but I WAS kind of tired at the hype. They were ESPN/ABC/Disney's fair-haired child this year. Of course they were the only school in a major conference to go undefeated so they were worthy of a great deal of the attention. However, they were exposed in the BCS championship game. And Ted Ginn, Jr. wouldn't have made much of a difference as the speed rush of the Florida defensive line took away Troy Smith's time to set up and let the receivers run their routes.

LSU did pretty much the same thing to Brady Quinn.

Agreed and agreed. No offense, but possibly the only team more overrated then OSU was Notre Dame?!

I LOVE the college bowl games... There are always some great games and big upsets.
I just have to say three letters to the college football world... S.E.C. Can anyone argue that the SEC doesnt play the best football in the country? The Big 10 sent 7 teams and lost 5 games, as usual. IMO, the Big 10 is vastly over rated and if they keep losing in big games should probably be dropped from the BCS. Put them on the same level as the WAC.

This guy is the reason behind the Big Ten getting so much attention. That and that all those schools are in high population states.
