Actually if they could, they would do away with all seats and just have luxury boxes. They make far more money off them and they get a different "class" of people. Mostly people who don't really love football.

im a huge bears fan...and standing is about 50% of the game.... i have been to the RCA dome for a colts/cowboys game, and there was a lot of standing.

i dont know how they would enforce this or why they'd want to.

I saw a cartoon a few years ago that actually depicted this. It almost looked like a "downtown" area with about ten rows of seats atop a glassed-in stadium.
