Here it is folks, the 2008 Survivor Pool.

Rules are simple (at least I think so)

*Initial cost: 3 decent cigars ( I think we all know what wouldnt make the cut by now)

* Each week you have to submit a pick. You are choosing a team that will win that week. Spreads are not counted. This is a straight up win. Once you select a team, you cannot use them again. For example, if you use the Colts week 1, you cannot use them again for the entire season. If you then use the Bears week 2, you know have 2 teams you cannot use for the rest of the season. Follow?

* Picks can be submitted here in this thread or via PM to me. They must be in before the kickoff of the game you are picking. If you forget to pick on Sunday, you can still submit a pick before the Monday night game, but it obviously must be one of the 2 teams playing. You can also change your pick as long as it is still before the kickoff.

* If you get a wrong pick during weeks 1-7, you have the option to buy back in. Each buy back is 1 additional cigar. You can buy back in as many times as you like during weeks 1-7. After week 8, if you lose you are out

* Last man standing at the end of Week 17 takes the pot. If there is more than 1, along with the pick your final will need to submit a tie-breaker which will be the total points of the game you are playing. So a game ending with a 17-10 score = 27 total points. Whoever gets closest to the actual points wins the tie-breaker. Remember, this is ONLY FOR WEEK 17!!! It may not come down to a tie-breaker.

* If an NFL game ends in a tie, it is considered a loss. We are picking winners here, not ties.
