I found 5 lines already... PSU giving as much as 2.5 and as low as EVEN. Which this game really is. PSU at home, maybe a couple more points. This is going to be a tight, primetime game. I just don't see a blowout happening.
Not sure if its gonna matter for PSU/OSU in the end. Either Texas, Oklahoma State, or Texas Tech is going to go undefeated. Alabama only has 1 real test left against LSU. Its also possible that Oklahoma runs the table and wins the Big 12 and COULD possibly be ranked above PSU/OSU, even with 1 loss. If 2 of the group of Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Alabama go undefeated, PSU is left out. As a PSU fan, you have hope that the Big 12 beats the crap out of each other, and each team has 1 loss. If not, no way PSU will be ranked above any of those undefeated teams, and no way OSU will be either. But 1st things 1st, PSU has to win, and win big. And a big win is not something I see happening. They have looked great on the road, but this is a different animal.

I'm kind of hoping Penn State beats Ohio State and runs the table and gets a shot at the national championship. I think its the only way that a Big10 school will get a shot at it.

Im just sick of the Big10 catching a bad rap. If PSU runs the table and wins I'll be happy. If OSU beats PSU we still wont have a snowballs chance in hell in going to the national championship. I wouldnt be surprised if they voted us out of the rose bowl and gave it to penn state even if we beat Penn State. Thats just reality in the human factor in the BCS. Everyone is swingin from USC's nuts in the media although they got it handed to them by an unranked team and we lost to the #1 ranked team at the time.

Personally I don't really care about conferences too much. I'm an OSU fan and I think Prior and Wells are finally coming out of their shells. I think they will be chanting "over rated, over rated" come Sat in Columbus....

Yeah, Penn State hasnt played a D like ours all year and looks like our offense is getting some rhythm to it. Oh and Penn State has never beaten OSU at the shoe.

PSU lost 9 straight times to Michigan, cracked that streak.
And BTW haters, the only over ranked team in the Top 10 is USC. Period. They ran into OSU when OSU was at their worst. I'd love to see a rematch right now. I bet OSU wins. OSU would be #2 right now if they didn't loose to USC (it would go Texas, OSU, 'Bama, PSU if only that 1 change). They are still #8 because they are... 1) playing well. 2) people now see they are a different team now, then they were the 1st 5 weeks of the season. This is without a shadow of a doubt the best team, O & D, that PSU has/will play in their regular season schedule. They cannot start out slow, they have to play solid football from the opening kickoff. OSU is a very solid team. PSU is a very solid team. They could play 10 times and probably split 5-5. Personally, I am NOT getting my hopes up. I have seen this happen WAY too many times in the Big 10 and to Penn State. This is an absolutely tuff, TUFF game. Again, sadly, the only real winner here will be PSU if they win by a decent margin. If they win close or loose, its not gonna be enough to move the BCS. Even if OSU blows them out, OSU, at best, moves to #5, still on the outside looking in. They would need a MAJOR shakeup at the top. Even still, they will be behind USC no matter what.

I gave up any NC hopes at halftime of USC. Hate for the Buckeyes nationally is too strong right now (and they've done nothing to disprove it) and they'd have to be the only 1 loss team left to make it. I'll take a Rose Bowl bid against anyone, and if they put Illinois in last year no way they pass up a 1 loss OSU.
And, I'm not saying I hate PSU or any other Big Ten team (except for scUM), just couldn't care less how their seasons go. If I'm watching them in a decent bowl game I usually root for them. You didn't hear many Bucknuts worrying about Big Ten perception when we were getting to the NC last two years, just our own, so why start now?
