I took today off. Freaking sick as hell.... even took off work Tuesday... but worked out wed and thrusday... but damn... can't shake this sore throath thing. Will do kempo in the morning. End of week one.

Week 1 went well for Kris & I. BUT, we now have to workout separately because McKinley won't let us out of her sight long enough to get it done. So usually, one of us works out while the other reads to her & then vice versa. Yoga night was crazy!! I did have to skip out on half of legs & back & miss ab ripper because of her, but all she wants is me to hold her & read a book....I CANNOT say no to that.

Haven't worked out in three days. Sat I drove 4.5 hrs to Saratoga for a surprise B-Day party for my friend. Eating and drinking was off the hook!

Sunday I limped home and was in no 'mood' for working out. Hopefully
i will get time today.

Just make it through the holidays and start up again the Sat after New Years!!

i wasnt going to say anything becasue i thought i would be the only one. ive only done 3 workouts since i started becasue i get pulled aside to hang up christmas lights, or go christmas shopping, or my brothers bday party. im really trying to hang in there as much as i can, but i think it was a bad idea to start this time a year. im trying guys.... i should have got the P120X

im kind of pissed because i COULDNT WAIT for the program to get here, an i jumped in.

all day i keep telling myself to hurry up and get through my route so i can get home to BRING IT, but there are a million things to do.

right now im happy if i get 4 a week in. after new years work will be slow and ill bump it up to 6 a week.

That is why I didn't sign up to start a round right now. If I was in CM's shoes, I would have no problem. But having a family around the holidays is more about them than me. I am still working out, in phase 3 mode, but only getting in 4-5 workouts/week.

Saturday January 3 will kickoff my round 2. Maybe I should tryand gain a few pounds for the next round of pics?

jj, if you do not have the time to do it right, I would put it off entirely until you can. It really is a 'program' designed to take you from where you are today to a whole new level.

To work out 3 times a week is far better than none. Do what you can, when you can..... but don't puss out. That would be a quiter.

Get the body ready for when you CAN hit it 6 days a week.... the whole idea of starting this at the begaining of Dec was to stimulate muscle growth..... focus on eating healthy... even though we know there WILL be a bad day here and there..... and instead of gaining 5 or more BIG OLD FAT POUNDS you have to work off later..... the focus will keep you levelized... and even make gains......

If you stimulate muscle growth...... YOU BURN MORE CALORIES..... even when you are sleeping.... which means at some point.... YOU HAVE TO EAT MORE!!! It's very cool.

But work out when you can.... don't ****ing give up .......


You wanted to make changes in your life.... Only you can do it.... 3 workouts aweek are FAR better than none....

Just to add to what I cycleman said, the most it will take you is an hour or so a day... I remember when I was going through the first 90 that I would work out at midnight if i had to to get it in. Worst case scenario you do half of the workout that day. Like only the first 12 sets in chest and back.. Stick with it you will be so happy that you did, and feel like a total puss if you dont... One thing that always helped me was cursing at Tony while he egged me on... My wife caught me doing that once and thought it was nuts... I honestly said out loud **** YOU TONY... But I do love him now.
