P90X - EX-TREEM ROUND TWO!! BRING IT!!!!!!!
OK... some of us have completed the first 90 days..... some dropped out... made up excuses....... and then we have newbe JJ that is about to change his life like many of us have.
MY CHALLENGE TO ALL OF US!!!!!!! [size=7]Round Two!!!!!!! BABY!!!!!!!!![/size] Starting the day after Thanksgiving.... so you can enjoy the day and the football with no worries..... WE KICK IT IN!!!! SO through Dec, Jan, and Feb..... when others are getting fat from lack of activity in the cold...... WE..... will be getting trim and freaking cut for the summer!!!!! I know I'm in....... Who's with this Cowboy!!!!!!! Any takers........ or are you a puss...... [/b] |

It's the freaking holidays bro!!
I intend to get a minimum of 4 workouts/week between T-day and New Years. Goal is to maintain through the holidays then hit it hard again after New Years. So yeah, I'm a puss! I am what I eat!!

as soon as i get mine im going balls to the wall... its the only way ill stay with it. ups says it will get here the 27th but i doubt they deliver on the holiday...so it will be saturday or sunday when i start the program. i guess i could do some sit ups and pushups just to be doing something.
tomorrow im building my chin-up bar that is strong enough to hold my 240 pounds of "how you doin" |

Starting on mine sometime mid-jan. Going to live the good life and use as much time to myself while I can.
What I think I'm going to do though. Is modify it a little bit. I'm going to use the p90x for yoga, plyo, ab ripper.. basically anything that doesnt require me to lift weights and I'm going to be on a pretty stringent weight lifting program while I have the free gym at my disposal. I may ship myself some bands while I'm gone but I dont feel as if using the bands with the p90x program will be as good as doing all of the p90x exercises on my own in the gym with their equipment. |

I am in..only Kris & I are starting back up the Monday after Thanksgiving, we will just be a few days behind you guys. We have been working out like dogs & really haven't taken much of a break since JULY

ok i think im all set... got my p90x in the mail today, built my chin-up bar last night... and got my dumbells out. must have been curling 40 pounds last time i was lifting.... i think im gonna back it off to 25 till i get a feel for the program.
one thing.... is it possible to be discouraged before you start the program?? i couldnt resist trying some pullups once i had my bar built... i could only do 3 (palms facing me) |

back the weights down, I was curling 35's when I worked out but you'll have to pace yourself when doing this or you'll poop out halfway through

right behind you mikey.... i start sunday with my wife.... i did some healthier shopping and had it in my lunch yesterday... wasnt too bad. for breakfast i had 3 bran muffins and 2 cups of coffee. midmorning snack a banana and an orange. lunch was a EAS protein bar and natures valley granola bar with two bottles of water. mid afternoon was another banana and orange. dinner was some chicken pasta stuff my wife makes. this may not be "bringing it" but my normal routine would be two packs of poptarts about 8 sodas over the course of the day, pizza for lunch and God knows what for dinner....and my wife for desert
i can live with this so far. |

I am at 290 after starting my P90 adventure, I still think I am to fat for P90X so I will do another round of P90.
