Yes, McNabb had a pick and a fumble. Yes, they had trouble in the redzone. Yes, they couldn't get the run game going.

HOWEVER....
1) McNabb was 23/34 for 300 yards
2) They did not ABANDON the run, still had 23 rushing attempts
3) FINALLY ran a West-Coast offense screen and used their biggest weapon to score.

Say what you want about the offense, the defense has been just nasty. They held Peterson to 1 big play and only 100 yards. 40 yards of that on 1 play. Jackson was completely limited.

I love being in this position right now. Eagles will be the underdog. Nobody is going to respect them this week or give them a real shot at winning. So only upside for me

The Giants limped into the playoffs, are 1-3 in their last 4 games, and got beat by Philly @ home in that stretch.

The Vikings played a great game on D, I was not suprised of the outcome, the Vikings do not have a great Offense outside of Peterson, but On defense they were without 4 of there starters and when Shaper left the game Mcnabb took advantage of it, and the Vikings special teams are anything but special.

Now the VIKINGS. THEY have a "quarterback problem".

And their feeble showing against Philly proves it.

So, I was 2-2 in my predictions.

RIGHT about Baltimore and Phily.

WRONG about Indy and Atlanta.

WTF knew AZ had a defense?

I tend to agree with you.

I was STUNNED that Atlanta had such a pathetic showing against AZ.

That's because Atlanta isn't that good. They looked good at 2 spots during the year, back-to-back wins against GB/Chicago and Carolina/San Diego. Other than that, they played middle-of-the-pack teams. They have a lot of upside for next year, but I just never felt strong about Atlanta.

Plus, they historically SUCK in the playoffs.

Hmmm....I thought at 11-5, having beat GB, Chicago, Minnesota, Carolina, San Diego and Tampa Bay, they were "pretty darn good". Add to that all the hoo-ha over this Matt Ryan kid.....

But hey, I'm no Atlanta Falcons homer. In the old days, shortly after they entered the league, the Packers would routinely MASH Atlanta, like 56-3. But then, in the Michael Vick years, they got "pretty good" again. And even beat GB in the playoffs a few years back, much to everyone's amazement.

I don't really care who wins anymore in the playoffs. I'm just thrilled to have some good games to watch.

YAY FOOTBALL.

YAY.
