What does YOUR NFL team need to change for 2009

Just curious what the armchair GM's of the board think their team needs to do in 2009 to try to secure a playoff spot.

For me.. and my sorry as Bengals we need to..

1. Sign Cedric Benson to a multi-year deal
2. Re-Sign TJ Houshmadilly for a multi-year deal
3. FIRE the O-coordinator... he was horrible, pathetic and could be read like a book
4. Trade Chad Johnson while he has some value to him for an O-lineman that is good.

Dallas needs to fire the entire coaching staff.

We are going into a new stadium.... and deserve better. We have talent.... but without coaching.... they are worthless... as this year showed us.

Stronger offensive line.

Kick TO in the ass..... matter of fact... kick his ass so he knows he needs to step up and be a leader and SHUT THE **** UP!

Oh... and double the Cheerleading squad.... that would always be a good thing.

Philly has a lot of work cut out for next season.

Jon Runyan
Brian Dawkins
Tra Thomas
Correll Buckhalter
LJ Smith

all free agents next year and you are depending on a star RB and QB both over 30 now.

add that to the fact that other than TO, they have never had a stud WR.

First and foremost Buffalo needs to get rid of Dick Jauron and Turk Schonert. Poor play calling and horrendous game management led directly to at least two losses this year and indirectly to more.

They also need to draft a new center, OLB, and corner.

And that's just for starters...

I wold like to see the Vikings get a new coach like Cower, I know they wont fire Childress, but I could only hope.

I want them to get better QB play and a good QB, they need more thread of WR's. Special teams have not been that special either. To many injuries there.

he has promise. Tons of receptions, but what... 3 TDs?

Gotta do better than that

Jags need to do quite a bit. We need to start with getting out O-Line healthy so we can protect the QB. We also need a better QB. One who's more mobile and has great accuracy. Then we need better receivers. The ones we have are immature to the game and/or coke heads. Then we took a big hit by losing Stroud to Buffalo so we need to stack our D-Line better. Secondary and RBs seem to be just fine.

Now you know why I was so happy when my 49er's, followed by the Eagles, got rid of his big ****in mouth. He's just not worth it and I really don't think anyone can shut him up for long enough.

49er's - Beef up that front line, give Gore some running room.
They just signed Singletary for 4 years which I think will help a lot.
Either put Alex Smith back in QB, or someone other than Shaun Hill. Sorry, just don't like that kid and I really thought Smith had some potential if they'd given him more to throw at and a little more time to do it in.

Cleveland needs to trade Baltimore for our old team back and they can have this piece of shit expansion franchise we got stuck with. Ugh!

Or we need a coach that can get some consistency out of our good players and a GM that know how to bring in some decent free agents. We need a shutdown CB, a blow-up LB/SS, and a new RB to back-up J Lewis next year. Not too much to ask is it?

I'm done with Smith. Cut him. He does nothing.

The rest of that list needs to get resigned. If not resigned, you need to draft accordingly.

I think the Eagles problem is just being inconsistent. They look like Super Bowl Champs one week, then complete dogshit the next. That is on the coaches to have the team ready to play each and every week. Something the best coaches do. Which goes to show you why New England and Indy both had 11+ game win seasons yet AGAIN even fighting off some major injuries.

The Packers need a new offensive line and a new defensive line.

The O-line is old, fat and washed up. They can pass block OK but can't run block for shit (see "old, fat and washed up"). Mark Tauscher? Fat. Injured. Chad Clifton? Fat. Old. Injured. Scott Wells? Undersized. Daryn Colledge? Weak. Jason Spitz? Stupid.

The D-line is young, fat and washed up. We took a major hit when Corey Williams was lost to free agency, Clitoris Hunt and Kabeer Baja Biamilla both washed out, rookie Justin Harrell turned out to be a fat, weakling piece of shit, and Cullen Jenkins got hurt. We haven't had a dominant defensive lineman since Reggie White. Aaron Kampman is the only good guy we GOT along the D-line and he's too small. Ryan Pickett is OK.

I mean seriously, can anybody believe that the Packers went from 13-3 to 6-10 in one season just because of Brett Favre?

We just need some linemen.

And we have the salary cap room to sign 'em.

I'm with HRPuffinStuff. Rodgers could use a little more experience, but he's already a good enough QB to hold his own and we are relatively strong in the backfields.

Pittsburgh needs a bit more solidarity on the line. Not necessarily a new line, but more time together.

Picking up Larry Johnson, (rumors have started,) wouldn't be bad, either. Willie Parker looks scared, and he would give good size and toughness out of the back, with Moore still as a great go-to.

Mendenhall is the great wild card in this whole discussion. How will he come back?
