well, baseball is back upon us, starting tonight with the Sox and Indians and plenty of more to follow on Monday. soon, i'll be off the college hoops and ready for summer. slow start with the 3 hour rain delay, but things are lookin good now for the blacksox. repeat anyone?


So, let's hear it. playoffs, pennants, champs, cy youngs, is damon the next babe that boston gave away.....anything.

I have been waiting for this day since the last out of last years WS. I love baseball so much because its a huge part of my life. I honestly hope Bonds breaks at least Ruths record and I hope my beloved Red Sox get their swagger back.

i'm thinking another year for the yankees like the last few. everyone thinks there's promise, but pitching will hurt em. plus i think the bluejays will shake some things up.

Every i hate bonds more and more, but at the same time, i realize more and more that nothing will be able to be done. i never wanted him to hit another home run ever again. still kinda wish it was true, but don't really care now. no matter what he finishes with, there will be a huge [SIZE="7"]*[/SIZE] there, wheather it's official in the books or in people's heads.

Baseball received a desperately needed boost of authentic Love which climaxed with Japan beating Cuba to win the World Series. What a party that was! THAT was Baseball imo.
I don't have anything good to say about American MLB ... So, in the meantime, I'll gladly wait for the World Cup and le Tour de France.

BUT there is always hope, at least for the first couple of weeks.

Bonds tarnishes all of baseball for me, if you can't do it clean then get out you steroid abusing fool. And now other baseball players sticking up for him what a croc. Unfortunately he will break the records barring injury and will be in the record books ahead of greats like Aaron and Ruth. What a shame for baseball.
