Masters - Last minute opportunity

My business partner in FL is a serious golfing guy. I think his Indian name is “Designated Guest” in that he plays in a couple dozen member guests at high end clubs around the country. He has a “Masters Connection” plays there at least once a year.

Got the call last night. Friday night drinks and dinner in the Club Cars, tickets to Saturday and Sunday. Possibility of a Butler Cabin pass. Hotel is taken care of. Business expense to fly and eat etc.

Yeah I know my life sucks. Am I an idiot for having reservations about going? Sam is whining about it being short notice. (He gets to go)

Will Phil play as well as he did most of last weekend? Will it be Tiger again? The potential ennui is breathtaking.

In your honor, as I toil mercilessly at the mowing, weed picking, and general yard cleaning duties, which I will be engaged in this weekend coming, I will smoke an unfiltered camel cigarette and scratch myself in a tribute of homage to your being willing to do the dirty work for us all.

If you're seriously having resevations about going, then you're twice the $^%&*@)(*$ that I thought you were. Go see what Bobby did, they say the telly doesn't do it jusctice. Take your walking shoes though, the hills don't show very well on TV. Please, tell us you're going. Would you turn down tickets to the World Series, the Super Bowl, the Rose Bowl, OSU vs Michigan fer God's sake..........

Dave I will be there on Thursday and Friday and maybe Saturday as well. One of the companies I represent called me last minute with two tickets and a whole package hotel and all. I am taking my dad with me as well.

So I guess I am going to be there for two days definatley. One practice day and one day of real play. Should be a good take. I have been to many tournaments,but never the Masters.

I will be in the AIG hospitality booth/tent.

Maybe we can hook up. I will PM you my cell #.

That would be awsome Richard. We are going down on Friday coming home on Monday. If you are there on Sat we def. need to hook up. Planning on staking out a spot on Amen corner.
