ok so detroit losing definitely screwed up my perfect score, but i'm still interested in making some money on my hockey knowledge. lord knows my future engineering degree won't pay that much...

Anywho, is it illegal to bet on sports? Like I know the whole bookie thing is illegal, but how does bodog and those other guys not get shut down?

I saw the Toronto Maple Leafs with the Stanley cup - sort of. It was the first time that I got to stay up to watch the whole game. I still fell asleep.

STARS WIN TONIGHT!!! AND I GOT TO BE THERE!!!

Sorry, I'm a little overjoyed tonight. It's also raining pretty heavily with some hail mixed in so I can't enjoy my victory cigar like I usually do. But it was one of the best games I've seen in awhile. After the game the entire arena was cheering with periodic chants of "Marty, Marty, Marty!" out into the concourse, down the escalators, outside to the parking lot, inside the public transit train and all the way to our stop. It was truly amazing.

So I ended up going to a formal tonight and missed the entire game. I knew I shouldn't have shaved my playoff beard for the stupid formal! Judging by the score though, it's probably a good thing I missed it. I may have gouged my eyes out if I was watching it. Oh well, I'll just have to go again Sunday and root the team on again from the nosebleeds. I've already blown my budget for everything for about the next 3 months, but it's the playoffs! GO STARS!!!
