I am getting awfully tired of "scrums." I know that the rules don't allow it now, but I wish that they could just drop the gloves and get rid of this BS!

All I know is that the league has no one to blame except themselves for the existence of someone like Avery.

At least the refs are calling interference. Funny, when I was growing up (original six), interference was *never* called. Why? Because any player doing that grabbing and holding sh*t would have got punched out.

Indeed! This series is slowly starting to wake up the dormant Bruins fans. A win Monday night in game 7 may make them relevant up here again. It's been a looooooooong time.

And now anybody that does try to give somebody (like Avery!) his well deserved medicine gets that stupid instigator penalty! Some of the rules in the game nowadays hinder the game and hinder the players even more.

Sounded pretty scary for the first couple of periods!

Wings/Nashville - absolutely the weirdest first goal for Detroit.

Calgary/SJ - game 7 on Tuesday will be a good one.

Not sure if Montreal - well, Price - can pull it off tomorrow. Boston has been coming on strong. Here's hoping!

Anyhow, Pronger out, good. Next round, hopefully Avery will go bye-bye.

It's funny I used to watch a lot of Boston sports as a kid but had my heart ripped out too many times to devote the time. Of course things are different now around here and I caught the 3rd period of the Bruins/Canadians playoff game. Wow! I didn't even realize they were still in it. Sad I know. But to give you an example of how things have changed for the Bruins from when I was a kid, I picked up pizza at a nearby brew-pub and had to wait. The Red Sox game was on the TV! Ummmm the Bruins were in the 6th game of the playoffs against long time rivals the Candians! And this was in a town that was full of people of French-Canadian descent.

That's good. I feel like the Dallas broadcasting team is one of the best in the league. That's not just hometown bias either, our color commentary guy (Daryl "Razor" Reaugh) regularly gets tapped to do national broadcast games for Versus during the regular season. He's also just one hell of a smart and funny guy and I absolutely love listening to him.

Oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness. Stars are just one win away from the conference finals! While it's pretty silly (I think) to have back to back playoff games, this just means that I won't have to wait till Wednesday to watch my Stars play again (and hopefully win!).
