I would get into the NBA but only about 10% of the players seem to genuinely give a sh$t. it's a joke. Tracey McGrady is the poster boy for smooth talking, money taking, effort lacking guys who are playing the paying public and team mgmt for chumps.

It's partially the owner’s fault. They insist on a 82 game season, which is way too many considering 53% the league makes the playoffs. No one, no matter how great an athlete they are can play 100% over 82 games, it’s just not possible. So players and whole teams take "games off", where they don't try, in order to rest up a bit.

Players also become disillusioned with owners who are more concerned with having a profitable team as apposed to a winning team. If the ownership isn't going to try to win, the players feel why should we try to win. We know all about that in Detroit (Loins), we drove one of the great players the game ever saw (Barry Sanders) into retirement because the ownership didn't care enough to try to win.

Detroit will beat the Spurs in 6. My lakers might make it throught the 1st round but not the 2nd.

I'm picking the Lakers to go all the way!! Kobe will average 40+ per game and Kwame Brown will average a 20p 10 rebs in the playoffs...

Not only is the season to long but it seems like the playoffs are an entire other season. WAY TO LONG. I'll tune in a month or so to see who wins it. Oh and GO PACERS (1-0) BOOM BABY!
