That's actually too bad, IMO. He is hanging around too long and will not make a difference at all. I no longer consider him a good qb, just an old one. The Packers could have looked to the future, now they are stuck with another lousy team, another year.

i normally would say go for it and play. i believe he's still got some skills. GB refuses to assemble any sort of team around him. sad really, he's going to have a season just like last year. i would really have loved it if he went somewhere else, plenty of places that need a quarterback.

I love Brett and always have...I will stand behind him always. He still has the stuff but last year we had too many key injuries and he had nothing to work with. Sure he has lost a step since his superbowl and MVP days, but he still is a great quarterback

And with the Packers looking to build for the future doesn't really hinge on Favre playing this year. I don't think Rogers could even step in at this point. Think he needs more learning time and not on the field. I only wish I was as impressed with the Packers offseason signings as I am with the Browns & a few others. I'm interested to see who I go after at the draft. I think we need to top RB, or G who can play now.

I like Favre but the whole maybe ill stay, maybe i wont just seemed like a ploy for attention, kinda got annoyed by it.
