I been too busy to do a recap for week 2. As for the Gators-Canes game, I was impressed with Miami and their play. Their youth caught up in the end and the refs didn't help. Also why kick a field goal in the final minute? Miami has a chance to win the ACC this year (not that a real accomplishment). Florida does have a lot of play makers. Also Notre Dame is still horrible.

Too bad Florida doesn't come to Miami until 2013.

The pirates are no fluke. They dominated West Virginia in that game.

I wish they played more often. But Florida will only schedule Miami when there are fourteen weeks in the regular season (so they can have two weeks off). Who knows how these two teams will be in 5 years. Maybe FSU will be the best team in Florida then. No, that will never happen.

I don't think Meyer will be there for the rematch.

Miami's football game at Florida last Saturday was the third most watched regular-season college game in ESPN history. The game drew a 5.0 rating and had 6,954,000 household impressions.

The Hurricanes have now been involved in the three most watched regular-season college football games to air on ESPN. No. 1 was the UM-Florida State game on Sept. 4, 2006 (9,120,000 households). No. 2 was UM vs. FSU on Oct. 8, 1994 (7,667,000 households).

I sure the overwhelming majority of those watching are hoping Miami gets beat.

Ironically in the first two I was wishing that miraculously you could both lose.
