it's just because they get people that don't give a crap about the anthem so they change it up so much because they want people to focus on the fact that they are singing it and not the fact that it's the national anthem.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one. I dont think Geo Thorogood, Snoop Dog, Lil brat, Van Halen, and the like should add their own 'touch' to the Anthem. It's not for REMIX...when I go to a game, and am locked up at the Position of Attention, the hair on my arms stand up and quite often my eyes well up. Its the NATIONAL ANTHEM, and a prideful 'song', not a frig'n popularity contest to sell more tix at the gate. Can you see Getty LEE and RUSH rocking out 'OH CANADA" at a Maple Leafs-Montreal hockey game!
