College Football Recap - Week 4

ACC:

The ACC won all their non-conference games, including Miami over Texas A&M, North Carolina State over ranked East Carolina and Georgia Tech over Mississippi State. Virginia Tech defeats the Tar Heels, while Wake Forest defeats Florida State in a very sloppy game that seemed that no one wanted to win.

Texas, Missouri and Texas Tech all win big. Colorado sends West Virginia to 1-2. Oklahoma was off.

Big East:

Another tough week for the Big East. Rutgers fall to 0-3 after their loss to the Naval Academy. West Virgina falls to 1-2. USF defeats FIU 17-9. Pittsburgh with a win over Iowa and Louisville defeats KSU.

Big 10:

Penn State with another big win over a bad team. OSU defeats Troy. Michigan State defeats Notre Dame. Northwestern and Minnesota both go to 4-0. Wisconsin and Michigan were off.

Pac 10:

This continues to be a one-team conference. In the biggest games for the conference this weekend, Boise State beats Oregon and Georgia with an impressive road win at Arizona State. The Trojans were off.

SEC:

This continues to be the best conference (although the Big 12 is getting closer). Alabama wins big over Arkansas. Florida crushed Tennessee. Vanderbilt goes to 4-0 is ranked for the first time in 24 years. Georgia with an impressive win at ASU. In the best game of the weekend, LSU defeats Auburn 26-21.

dude, i was at the LSU / AU game, it was unbelievable. i had so much fun, especially since we won. the AU fans were very hospitable and we only had to defend ourselves from the trash talking a few time, but it was nothing we couldn't handle. Now on to crush Miss State then a bye week to get ready to make Gator boots!

it was pretty crazy during the game. the LSU AU game is always a good one to watch, always a hard-fought close game.

It has been a while since I seen a Miami game in person (3 years ago @ Temple). Since they joined the ACC, not too many close games for me. At least when they were in Big East, Syracuse, Temple and Rutgers were not that far away. The last game I went to was Illinois @ Penn State.
