Good news 'rasslin fans!

While not a "true" sport, fans of wrestling rejoice, the return of Exteme Championship Wrestling is here! Looks like Vince has decided to re-start ECW as a full-time promotion. Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer will be in charge, as it should be. ECW is not your Daddy's wrestling show, it's primarily for adults and can be very violent. If you are a rasslin fan and never got to see ECW in the mid/late 90's, you missed out on some of the best hardcore wrestling action this side of Japan. ECW ECW ECW ECW!

Former ECW stars contacted by WWE include: The Sandman, Sabu, Balls Mahoney, Justin Credible, Lance Storm, Francine, and quite possibly a few other individuals. All of these wrestlers, with the exception of Lance Storm at the moment, have agreed to terms with WWE. They are all expected to sign contracts this week or next week. All are one-year deals with WWE holding options for another 1 or 2 years.

ComicBookFreak and I got to see thier only two live shows in NC, during thier peak, and they were by far, the best shows we went to. Front row, ready for violence.

Now, ECW is coming back. As a fan, I couldn't be happier. June 11th is the PPV. Long live ECW!

BTW, if you didn't know, Sabu is the most homicidal, suicidal, genocidal athlete on Earth! And The Sandman drinks a six-pack on his way to the ring. How can you not like him?

You must not have heard about the real incident with the overrated Goldberg and Chris Jericho in the WWE. They got into an argument backstage and Jericho slapped a front face lock on him and told him he woulld let him go, when he calmed down. Goldberg couldn't do anything. Jericho made a fool of him. Goldberg is not in the ring, today, because he is dangerous.. Numerous injuries to other wrestlers including the career ending kick to the face of Bret Hart.

Also, when Goldberg was on his "streak"in dubba-c-dubba, he faced Steven Regal. Regal made him look like a child in the ring. Subsequently, Regal was fired for it.

Goldberg was a flash in the pan, created to help dubba-c-dubba's ratings against WWF and it didn't work.

I will give him one thing, he sure can head-butt walls, lockers, doors, etc.

The way he used was perfect! He did put arses in the seats for them. He definatly has NFL strengh and he was a good entertainer. It's just because he didn't have the world-class skills that is needed for Vince's approval. And Vince is one picky bastid. Plus, he is a dubba-c-dubba produced star and Vince tends to favor "his boys". Especially the ole son-in-law Triple H.
