How did your team do in the NFL draft?

Ok..ya'll know I'm a Steeler fan..so,They traded up to #25 and snagged Santonio Holmes to replace the loss of Randle El. But, they didn't pick a Running back at all . Could the Steelers be going away from the power running game?

Well, we shall see what happens.Go Steelers!!!!o

Re: How did your team do in the NFL draft?

I like the linebacker out of Iowa (Greenway) for the first pick with my Vikings, but I had hoped that we would have moved up for a QB like Cutler. Grabbing Tarvaris Jackson with a trade with Pittsburgh at the end of the second round seemed like a stretch but one can never tell until about 2-3 years... I give them a C overall.

Yah picking a QB for the 64th overall pick is a BIG stretch!

Re: How did your team do in the NFL draft?

i wanted chicago to get a TE, pope or byrd. no

also wanted a QB for the future, seeing as no one in chicago trusts one on the roster, maybe croyle or whitehurst. no

we got a no namer from abiline christian? and a WR/CB/return man from miami. we've had some return problems so hopefully one of these two guys can fix that.

plus i still wanted them to take a WR, sanorice(?) moss or chad jackson since holmes was gone.

one of the worst offenses in the league and they pick their first offensive players in the 6th round. (not counting devin hester, although listed as a WR in the draft, he was not good enough for that spot at the U and had to play CB.)

very disappointed here. but hopefully things turn out and the right picks were made, that's why the people in the offices get paid the big bucks and i don't.

Well I was hoping the Colts would get White and they picked up Addai. Oh well I guess I will trust Polian, he seems to know what he's doing!

Re: How did your team do in the NFL draft?

Dallas picked up another linebacker and Fasano from Notre Dame. They picked up that receiver from LSU which will help on special teams and a slot receiver for Terrel and Terry. Cowboys didn't pick up a Free Safety which kind of worries me. They got beat over the top several times last year.

I'm a colts fan too. A lot of who gets drafted by who and where has more to do with how that player fits into a scheme then their overall draft grade. White may have graded higher, but Addai was the right fit for the colts. He an all purpose back (runs, catches out of the backfield, is an excellent blocker), in the mold of James. White is not, which is primarily why the Colts probably passed on him. i think they really wanted Marouney out of Minnesota, but he was off the board by the time they picked.

Im a Toronto Argos fan, so we didnt get anyone in the draft! LOL But we did manage to get Ricky Williams on our negotiating list. Yes, THAT Ricky Williams! He may be in the CFL next year! It's a good thing that pot is now decriminalized here!

They did draft safety Pat Watkins from Florida state who is more of a free than strong and has great coverage skills. I think he will compliment Roy Williams quite nicely. He did play free safety at Florida state also.

Re: How did your team do in the NFL draft?

As a Packer fan, I thought if we traded down any more, we could have had the whole 7th round. We vastly improved our linebacker position though. At the very least, they have good football names. AJ Hawk and Abdul "The Hitman" Hodge.
