Do you eat at the turn while golfing?

And when do you light up your cigar during your round?

Personally, I don't like to eat at the turn unless I'm super hungry. I normally eat before my round and I don't like the wait between the front and back.

I like lighting up one the 2nd or 3rd tee as my friends and I usually have a lot to talk about right away. And it's not out of the ordinary for me to light up a second one in the round.

I usually light up after the first hole. That way you get your first shot out of the way and go on from there. I usually do 2 sticks per round.

i normally eat well before, but if i'm hungry come the turn, i'm gonna stop and eat. i hate playing hungry!

as far as smoking, i light up before the first if i'm waiting on another foursome to play. i normally smoke about 3 cigars during an average 18. almost always box press, so i can lay them down easier without them rolling off.

i now have an af anejo shark to smoke this summer! cant wait!

Have been a golfer for about 45 years now ( shaddup Logan,,no quips about my age and golfing with Sam Sneed or Bobby Jones,,even though Sneed had some gastro intestinal thing going on ) and I would or do start off with a good churchill on the first tee. Since I don't walk a course since 1985 I take a cooler that I fit in my over sized golf bag laden with beer and snacks. After the 9th hole I grab a quick dog and play on munching on the hot dog and chips and beer and continue play. I love golf and play all over the US.

I might grab something that is very portable - a plain hotdog or a couple things of those delicious peanut butter crackers but I never stop. Gotta keep the juices flowing and the same rhythm throughout. I like to wait until about the 2nd or 3d to light up and then again on 10 usually. I smoke faster on the course. I can also balance any cigar on one tee placed in the ground and can do it quick enough to not cause a delay. I play a lot of mornings so there is usually dew for a while. Damn, you guys have me dying to play. Gonna grab a cigar and head to the driving range. It's 56 in Cincy, our first day over 40 in fOREVER!

I'll grab a hotdog before I tee off and light up immeadiatley after. BTW, just can't seem to sort out my Mizuno 60 degree. I'm pretty close to donating it to the coyote's where I can usually find my ball... out in the sagebrush.

You need to trade that Mizzy for a Vokey. I have a new 54 spin milled and it's money. Gonna grab a new 58 soon, mine is beat to hell and back. I have a huge ding in it where I got up and down out of some rocks last year.

It was so nice at the range - blasted two buckets. I'll pay for it tomorrow.

I usually show up to the clubhouse early and have something to eat before going out, then I'm good for 18 holes. I still might have a snack at the turn on the back nine, but not usually.

The snack bars on the military course here in Korea have ramen, boiled eggs, and spam musubi (spam surrounded by rice and wrapped in seaweed). They have hot dogs and sandwiches too.

Sitting down for a meal ruins my back nine. If you've ever seen my front nine, you know that's a bad thing.
