I'm with Jimmy Spencer. I don't give a 'darn' what your name is, he should have been penalized. I think it was BS that it wasn't intentional, and then trying to say it was all Vicker's fault.....Gheez.

I know he is America's Driver, but he does make lots of excuses.

Besides, he took out 2 of my fantasy drivers!

Oh well.......glad we're racing again!

Re: What'd you think of Jr's move?

I agree with Jimmy Spencer as well. I know Jr. was frustrated but all he had to do was let off the gas and fall back in line. I can't believe he wasn't penalized but I guess he gets an exemption because of his name. I mean they gave Leffler a five lap penalty yesterday and what he did wasn't much worse than what Dale did today.

He ruined a lot of good drivers day with just a stupid decision. Dale is definitely not the brightest guy, he showed that today.

Jr is one of the Golden Boys and often gets a pass, what do ya do.

He knows he's 'America's driver', and he just has to be a cry baby about everything, and it's never his fault. Even the bad pit stop was blamed because of the pink signs instead of him just missing it.

I guess that's what happens when you aren't getting your former sponsors product anymore.

Re: What'd you think of Jr's move?

I've got to agree with DW--I've only known Jr to admit fault when he does things intentionally or accidentally. I'm not saying he couldn't have let up any, but hell I was just glad to see it back as "racing" again. Anyways, he don't get everything let go because of it--he's been one of the first fined for cussing/etc, and that lap penalty I thought was way too much for just having a tire on the line (at most it should have been to the tail of the longest line). Anyways, Vickers can't talk--he did the EXACT SAME THING a few years ago when Jr was leading at 'Dega--Vickers took out Jr and Johnson (his own teammate at the time) while they were running 1,2,3.

EDIT: here's the video of Vickers wrecking Jr and Johnson, Dega '06; happens at 1:50minutes into the video

Don't forget, he is the son of the intimidator, who unlike so many, I never liked for those same wreckless and even though they may not have been... alot of seemingly intentional (or at least intentionally careless) moves.

Re: What'd you think of Jr's move?

I think it was both their faults. Vickers couldve not blocked that hard, JR couldve slowed it down. Oh well.

I am happy that JR is starting to show a little fire. He probably had a good shot to win today, but brain farted a couple of times. Im sure next weeks race will be interesting. At least kyle got taken out.

Re: What'd you think of Jr's move?

Rubbin's Racing Boyz. I agree that while it may have not been the smartest move for JR., we have to remember it is Daytona. And due to the rain, they were all racing to the red flag in this case. I thought that it was a rather boring Daytona at best. Rain ruins everything in this case. Lets not forget the stupid moves by Kyle Busch, at least he got wrecked. Payback.
