Sad but very true. I used to watch ballgams religiously but after the strike I quit watching for about 4 years and slowly went back while living in San Diego. The last 2 years with all of the 'roid' stories and listening to these guys I'm sick again that they feel they have to take all of these performance inducing medications to do their job. What, they can't live on millions of dollars per year and hire a conditioning coach to develop their bodies the way they need it to be maintained? Please, Manny can drop off the face of the earth along with Fake Rod and the others. Poor guy, how is Manny going to manage with only a few millions dollars after the 50 game suspension?

When is one of these guys ever going to say WHY they did it,,not the typical BS reason they try to tell everyone,,,,"uh,,I made a mistake,,,,I take full responsibility for my actions,,,,I didn't mean to,,,,I'm ashamed and sorry for the fans" ,,,,,,come one,,,say the real truth that you are a greedy spoiled ball player who wants to ensure his marketability in the sport so you can make more money in the future.
