Barry Bonds, meet Vince Lombardi

Vince Lombardi was before my time, but in my eyes was one of the true giants and men of honor in professional sports. No matter what Barry Bonds does, he will never be Number 1 in anything in life. He would do well to take the following quotation from Mr. Lombardi to heart:

I have been playing ball since I was 9. I think that with or with out the roids it takes some kind of skill to hit the round ball. I am not saying it is ok to take roids at all. Retire maybe. Give up roids yes.

I'm with you somewhat. I've seen tape of Bonds hitting in slow motion over the years and the mechanics have not changed. IMHO This guy would be hitting home runs with or without steroids.
