I was suprised with the outcome of last nights game, I really expected it to be a lot more competitive. The pitcher for LSU (Coleman) really looked good.

Todays games: USM vs. UNC & ASU vs. Texas. Let's have some fun.

LSU was on their game! When the bats started swinging they were pounding the ball. They looked very good. Arkansas started to come around in the 3rd, but just could not figure out the pitcher. I was hoping for a better game as well, but oh well. It is still hard to beat watching the game from the 3rd base line.
We will see how the games go today, the CWS weather gods have been on our side. Last night while doing security we got hammered by the rain. So far though no rain delays.

Thank goodness for lousy base running and timley hits!! A great game tonight. Now we just have to beat LSU twice.

Well the hogs looked much better last night. Decent pitching kept them in the game. Two wins against LSU is going to be a tall order but with some luck who knows. Last year when Fresno state used 6 pitchers in one game, everyone counted them out. They were our champions in the end. We shall see how tonights game goes. We lucked out again on the weather, we had storms all around the game last night.

Wow ASU came back strong last night. I thought NC was a shoe in. I am going to the Arkansas/LSU game today. Another BIG storm last night, we should be good for todays weather.

Yea Greg...I thought NC had it in the bag, I was actually pulling for ASU in this one. It's unfortunate someone has to lose but with NC being there 4 years in a row it has to make the lose even tougher, especially for the seniors.

Have a great time at the game today. If LSU plays like they have the last two games Ark will be in for a long day.

Yep, long day for Arkansas. I don't mind losing to a better team but sure wish they would have made a better game of it. It has been a great CWS to watch thus far. I hope there are still some good games ahead. I'll be rooting for another SEC Nat. Champ. As painful as it is to say...Go Tigers, win it all.

Well tonight is the championship series. LSU looks very good, I think they can take it in two if they get those bats swinging. Texas had those two HR's at the end of the game to make the win, but otherwise they have been sqeaking by. We shall see, I am headed back down tonight.

I'm with you on this one....and from the way LSU looked over the 3 games I don't think they'll have trouble with their bats.

WOW!!! I was so disapointed with LSU, they could not do anything. I don't know if they can even win tonight. They looked just as bad in person as they did on TV. Well let's see what happens tonight.

With the way LSU breezed through their bracket, I didn't think Texas had an ice waters chance in he!!.

Monday, LSU had problems and had to come from behind. Last night, they were really controlled for the first time in the CWS. Texas has really surprised me at how well they've been playing, especially their hitting. They've definately taken the game to LSU.

Here we go.....one game for all the marbles!!!!!
