Well we are just about ready to kick off another CWS here in Omaha! Got a great lineup this year. Some old friends and a couple of new teams. I will be around the series working and playing.

i love the CWS..always some great games...i think they should put morle games on TV through out the yr?...neither of my teams made it these yr but ill still be watching!

The emotion, the excitement, and the effort put forth by all of the ball players makes it is so much fun to watch. My team didn't make it either but I will be watching. CS Fullerton vs. Ark. Sat @ 1PM (CDT) will get the party started.

You are right about the emotion and excitement, I have been working the CWS for 15 years and I have never been around another event like it. All of the fans are great, respectful players and of course great games. It is too bad we only have one more year at Rosenblat stadium, the new one will be great but the atmosphere will never be the same as it is now.

Gosh darn, working there the past 15 years I know you've seen what, maybe, one or two great games. With the fans the atmosphere has to be electric.

It is ashame that the CWS only has one more year at Rosenblat (truly a classic setting) but you'll have a new stadium, maybe more important, the CWS will be in Omaha through 2035.

are they building the new one yet? I havent been down there since we went to Henry Doorly Zoo last spring.

Yes they have started on the new stadium, it is right accross from the qwest center.

I would have to say I am fairly lucky, I have seen some of the greatest players and come back teams. It has been an incredible experience!

Yeah, that is one of the biggest draw backs. But we still have this year and next year. I was just down at the stadium and the area is packed with fans.

Shriner I am jealous. I would love to be in Omaha right now. This is the only baseball I watch all year and my team is there on a hot streak. There is something about college baseball. The small stadiums and the fan participation. I wish I could get to more games and have a few more on tv.

Kevin, I have been at the series all weekend. I am going to the game tonight. I hope the Hogs can pull it out. They looked great the other night. I got 3rd base box seats so I am pupmed and ready for the game!

Greg, man enjoy yourself tonight, I'm envious. Tonights game has the makings of a really good game. I guarantee I will be watching.

The games this weekend have all been enjoyable, especially last night's USM/TX game. The pitching wasn't all that good but it sure made the game interesting. Just goes to show the hardest three outs are the last three.

I really can't believe how VA is beating up on CS Fullerton.

We got hammered tonight. LSU is a great team. I am looking forward to playing Virginia Tue. I think that will be a good one.

The Southern Miss/Texas game was a heartbreaker. There have been some great games so far, less the Arkansas/LSU game.
