The Tito - F. Shamrock fight was long ago. The fight even went into the 4th round and was one hell of a fight. And Tito has improved tremendously since then. I'd really like to see Frank back in the UFC to see how he matches up (or destroys) the current fighters.

Ken Shamrock is past his prime, but I do not discount want he can bring into a fight. He should bring a good fight to Tito but in the end I believe it will be Tito's hand raised.

I have 2 sticks that say Tito wins. What say you?
IMO Tito has lost alot of his ability sense the first Tito/Shamrock, it just seems like he's kinda loosing his edge. Thats why I think this will be an awesome fight, Ken is getting up there but still has very good striking skills and he's got his leg locks and Tito it loosing his edge but is still a tough fighter.

I'd love to see Frank come back to the ufc. He would probably destroy everybody. I'd love to see a Frank vs Matt Hughes. Now that would be a fight.

Frank is a bad man. I don't know if it is something political going on or what his reason is for not coming back to the UFC, I think I will look around for an answer.

Agreed. Not to take anything away from UFC guys but Pride just seems to have top notch fighters all around. When Liddell went out there he got tore up AND he had the UFC strap with him, must have been kind of embarrassing. And yeah I wonder why Frank dosn't fight for the UFC, must be something political.

Re: Shamrock Verses Ortiz in UFC

Man I've been out of the swing of things for awhile....... so here's my take.

I've always liked Shamrock, one of my favorite fighters because of his tenets on respect, integrity and intensity.... that being said, he's always been a hothead fighter. Going back to UFC 2 and so on. I would love to see him take Tito down a notch, I just don't see it happening though. Seriously, I've disliked Tito since the get go, but I respect his fighting. He did more than just try to have heavy hands after training with Tank, he actually worked on his ground game so respect for that. However, he's an arrogant little prick who I hope catches one on the chin from Ken. God it was good to see Couture spank his ass

Silvia is a sloppy mofo. The only real qualities he has is being big as a house. He's a hard hitter but he lacks any real discipline. Arlovski is a better all around fighter and it just didn't go his way last time. I see him kicking the living shit out of Silvia this go around.

If anybody else wants to bet on Silvia.... pm me

i gotta agree after watching what i could of the last fight it looked like arlovski tried to fight silvias fight. i think if AA fights his own fight he will regain the championship. im still waiting for fedor and aleksander to make their ufc debut. wishful thinking.

Re: Shamrock Verses Ortiz in UFC

Never been much of a Tito fan, even though I think he'll win, but after watching TUF 3 I have much more respect for him. He went into that show to help the fighters. He trained them. He coached them. And he also worked out with them. That can not be said for the "coach" of the other team.

Re: Shamrock Verses Ortiz in UFC

Check out the "Countdown to UFC 61" special they have been airing on Spike. Looks like Tito has a bad attitude, and Shamrock is already hedging just a bit. Both look to be in great shape though. I think the Arlovski-Sylvia fight just might be "the" fight of the night though.

I agree with you on this statement. I think there is as much, if not more, anticipation for the Silvia/Arlovski fight..
