Ortiz in round 2 via ref stoppage.

I was at the last Ortiz fight (vs Griffin), and even with a leg injury Tito pulled off the win. He injured his leg in the first round with Forrest..

Your bet is a safe one Icehog.. Good luck to you brother..

Oh, what do you guys think about the Belfort vs. Overeem fight this Friday? I will be there at the HP Pavillion in San Jose for it. Got floor seats for this one..

Greg said he wouldn't take that bet, he says he hopes Shammy wins but thinks Ortiz will win. So I will take the bet Tom. I hate Tito and hope he gets knocked the puck out!!

Re: Shamrock Verses Ortiz in UFC

I think this is actually going to be a really even fight. Shamrock is older and past his prime and Tito has pretty much fallen off and I don’t care that the judges had Tito of Griffin, Griffin won that fight hands down. Shamrocks stand up has gotten really good, his hands were awesome against Fajita, and it was pretty good against Don Frye, also Shamrock won that fight, just because he got knocked down once doesn’t really seem like it should overshadow a lot of leg locks and ring control. Just my opinion, should be a good fight.

Re: Shamrock Verses Ortiz in UFC

I really don't see any reason why this fight will be any different than their first one. Ken hates Tito so he'll try to KO him instead of going for leglocks like he should if he wants to have a chance. Plus, Tito already has Ken mentally beaten.

I see this happening again:

i used to be a fan of shamrock but seeing his lazy attitude towards the kids has kind of turned me off he seems to be in the twilight of his career, still gotta respect what he has done for the sport,

Re: Shamrock Verses Ortiz in UFC

In truth, I think Tito will probably win, but there is no way I am going to pull for Tito. I never have liked him and have always thought him to be over-rated. So I gotta go with Shamrock on this one and hope he lands a hard punch or knee to Tito's glass jaw. Shamrocks skills have faded somewhat ,but he still punches hard. And has the leg locks. Tito isn't a slouch he just doesn't have the best of jaws. He has good ground and pound tho. Should be an interesting fight with the hate between these two.

You gotta bet hog. Go Shamrock!!

I have to agree with Comic Book Freak, Tito dosn't have much of a chin. If Ken can land a decent punch it's gonna be over. Though I think Tito is probably gonna take this one again just because of his age, he has a bit more in the tank. Shamrock comes out so strong and so hard the first few minutes that he seems to get winded rather quick. Gotta pull for Shamrock though. I like how Tito talks about how the old school should step aside and let the new school in like himself, yet Tito got Spanked by randy couture and he has pretty much lost it at age 31 (31 right?) I know he beat Forrest and Vitor but I don't seem him sticking around much longer. I'd love to see Tito and Guy Mezger go at it for a third time.

Old legs and no wind is what I can see happening. I hope not.
