US Open

Who's everybody got in the US Open this week. I know Tiger sounded very confident and collected in his press conference and Phil has won two majors in a row, but does anyone think the field has a chance. Me personally, I want Daly to win at -1. Let's get some names and scores for this week???

Re: US Open

Well...Phil is on a roll in majors, Vijay won last week, Tiger is Tiger but it might just be one of the young guns like Adam Scott or Trevor Immelman. Sure am looking forward to it.

I'm rooting for Tiger personally, think he will be wanting to win this one for his dad and I hope he does.

Re: US Open

You want to believe Tiger will will himself to the win by a large margin, but lefty and the V are pretty tough.

Today, they have perfect conditions. The course will get harder each day.

Tiger +7 after 12. Take another 9 weeks off. However, if he can get a couple back, the field may come back to him.

Re: US Open

Tiger might miss the cut if he doesn't shape up like NOW.

well since Tiger got his ass whopped by the course the past two days, I want to see Vijay or Davis Love 3 win.

Re: US Open

Personally, I would like to see a Steve Stricker coomeback. He is a nice guy. Realistically though, I think Vijay or Phil will be the guys to beat...especially now that Tiger is out.

Re: US Open

I'd like to see Montgomerie, Funk, Couples or Olazabal. Montgomerie has had a good first round before and followed with a 77. The other three would need to make a move tomorrow.

I would love to see Couples win but don't think it's going to happen. Keeping fingers crossed anyway.
