Re: Tour de France

Now Floyd's camp is floating dehyration as a defense. It is already being shot down by the experts.

He also hired Tyler Hamilton's Lawyer who seems to be making Floyd look guiltier. He is attacking the UCI, the "FRENCH" lab and "FRENCH" Newspaper L'Equipe for leaked information in an effort to distract attention from the test results (which he is hot disputing). He mistkenly implied it was the UCI who released Floyds name, though it was actually Phonak, after they had to pull Floyd fromm a race in Holland.

So basically it is Floyd being framed by these corrupt racist institutions. Well, it worked for OJ Simpson.

THe idiot should have kept his mouth shut and hoped that the B-Sample result comes back as something different.

Re: Tour de France

All the pros are dopers I think; Floyd's doctor just gave him too much, or the drug did not react in his body as they were expecting- elevating to level where he tested positive. I still respect his victory whether he doped or not as it's quite difficult to ride the TdF either way. Is he a cheat if they are all cheats?

Pro cyclists are super human and the only way these guys can perform that level all season is with a little help. I don't they can eradicate drugs in cycling as long there is any incentive to win and riders need to provide a living for themselves and loved one.

Although you're probably right for cycling and other sports, it's not much of an excuse to justify it, where I'm concerned. I'd rather see a true contest of skills and training "au naturale"; man against man, rather than guess at what might have been. The way it is now, it's a contest of which doctor can mix the best cocktail.

Can you blame them? With all the suspensions before the tour, this was supposed to be a clean race.
