MMA: Chuck Liddell vs. Wanderlei Silva
Just read through the play by play of ufc 61(ppv for this fight card not worth it IMO) and after the Ortiz vs. Shamrock fight Dana White announces Chuck Liddell vs. Wanderlei Silva in November to be held after the Liddell-Babalu bout next month.

Now this is going to be a great fight!

Not really, Chuck tried Pride fighters once, and didn't like the taste it left in his mouth.

The Axe Murderer will destroy Chuck. Assuming Chuck gets past Babalu,which he should but Babalu is no cakewalk.

btw most people don't know the night silva almost kneelifted jackson through the ropes? he had beaten yoshida (who has beaten gracie and frey) earlier in the night. if silva wanted to he would be both the middleweight AND light heavyweight champion in the ufc anytime he wanted provided white would allow him to fight for a title. i would wager for silva over liddell any day of the week. looks like CBook and I will just have to stay poorer lol.

Tom, I've been a fan of Chuck Lidell for a long time, and you've been a good guy to me since I've been here, so let me return some - don't bet against Silva in this fight. Chuck is a great fighter, but Silva is, well, an Axe Murderer.
I've seen them both fight and, although I would rather see Chuck win, I don't think it's gonna happen.
