College Football National Champ Picks

I know it's early, but hell, it's never too early. Three weeks and change til football returns, who do you all think will win the national championship game?

I've got Ohio state exacting revenge on Texas early on and making a clean run through the Big-10 to make it to the NC.

The second pick is tough, if WVU can beat Louisville they'll go undefeated and will hard to keep out of the national championship. If they lose, it's a wide open race for the second slot. Texas and the big three from the SEC (Auburn/Florida/LSU) would probably be next in line.

My pick: OSU beats WVU 31-14 when it's all said and done.

Bad as I hate to admit it, I gotta believe the National Champion this year will come from the SEC. Texas and USC suffered to many key losses to the draft.
And, even if Ohio St. beats Texas, I don't see them getting thru the conference unscathed. That's a tall order indeed. Long as it's NOT Miami,
Florida, or Florida St., I'll be happy.

Good call on WVU. I think they are a great team and only have one tough game which they should win.

My beloved school getting there will not be an easy task...it never is. Texas, Penn State, Iowa, Michigan and Michigan State are all tough games.

I am only seriously worried about the second and last games of the season, and Iowa too. I know there really is only one must win game this year, as always, and this year it is November 18th. It is a curse to be picked #1 in the pre season poll[SIZE="7"].[SIZE="4"] GO BUCKEYES![/SIZE][/SIZE]
