no that is not what i'm trying to say. my wife is a big buckeye fan and she is a good one. i have been to a couple of bukeye games and what i saw there was a joke. after michigan beat them about 7 years ago, i witnessed a 80 year old michigan fan getting pelted with beer cans and other osu fans agging them on. then they set neal ave on fire and i was forced to go home because of the college students tumbling cars. not all osu fans are like this i know that, but for the most part i have been all over the country and i still have to say there fans are the worst. just a opinion. the reason i say that is it isn't a place i would like to go back to, and out of the 20 universities that i've been on it is the only one that i feel that way about.

smokey, I knew you would bring up the Michigan incident. Not that I am condoning that in any way, but drunk unruly college kids are everywhere. Fans are bound to get yelled at, stuff thrown at them, etc. Rioting here was a big problem, it isn't so much anymore.

Wanna see bad fans? Go to a Wisconsin football game dressed in the garb of the opposing team. I've heard stories of people being in fear of their own life. They take it way too far.

But your opinion is your opinion and a guy on an internet message board can't change that. It is the best college football experience and I am proud to be a part of it. If everyone thought the way I did, it wouldn't be what it is.

wasn't just the michigan game. there were a couple of others as well. can't comment on wisconsin never been there. never seen anything close to what i saw there at any other game i've been to. the closest is detroit lions in the nfl, there fans are pretty bad, but atleast they just fight. maybe things have changed in the past couple of years. i sure hope so.
