The only one I would really question on your list is Bob Griese. After all he missed 8 games in the Dolphins perfect season and the team didn't miss a beat.

A guy that seems to get no love is Warren Moon. He would have every passing record in the book now if he wasn't forced to go to the CFL for the start of his career. I would definitely put him in my top 10.

Remove Marino and add Tom Brady.
Yes, I know Marino had scintilating stats, but football is about winning. This biased New Englander would rather the ball be in Brady's hands with the game on the line in the fourth quarter than any of the guys listed.

That's it...my list. I know people will kill me for no Marino. But my list is for winners. I'll get killed for no Elway...the man does not exist as far as I'm concerned. Killed football in Baltimore, eventually led to Cleveland not having a team for some years. He's not great - just a whining sissy when he left Stanford.

If football is about winning like the last 2 posters say I don't understand why you would include Namath and Simms who only one 1 Superbowl each and leave off Troy Aikman who won 3???

I think Brady and Favre and Aikman should DEFINITELY be on the list.

Take off Marino, sims and namath for their lack of winning superbowls and lack of leadership.

But Favre has the same # of superbowls as Simms and Namath (One)???
